Gita is a loving, radiant being with a soul purpose to assist humanity in experiencing more joy, health and inner peace in their lives through the services she offers.
After 5 years as a professional Engineer she had a strong inner impulse to let go of her career. This dramatic life change opened up a world of possibilities and she felt led to create a metaphysical bookstore. Gita has served as a light in the community of Woodstock Ontario for two years as the owner and operator of Serendipity. In 2008 another inner impulse arose and she felt guided to close the shop and better serve her community by teaching workshops, classes and offering sound healing concerts on a regular basis.
The name Gita is the Sanskrit word for Song. Through her personal practice and devotion, Gita began to discover her sacred voice and singing of ancient Sanskrit chants.
Gita is an Intuitive Healer working with Reiki, Crystals, Tibetan Singing bowls and Sanskrit chants. Those who have heard her voice have been amazed at the healing ancient chants offer when combined with her powerful voice and willingness to be of service.
Gita has an intuitive gift that she combines with her sensitivity and innate ability to read the human energy field and transmute any distorted energy, balancing the chakras and subtle bodies within the client.
She is also a qualified and experienced teacher of a wide range of yoga. The yoga she teaches is designed to help strengthen and invigorate the body as well as relax and restore the body, mind and spirit through various poses, conscious breathing and guided imagery.
